Alaska dog mom
Organizations that support the well-being of our companion animals. Specifically, groups that work to reduce the number of homeless/unwanted pets, through spay and neuter programs, rescuing and rehoming, conducting education and outreach on responsible pet ownership, and providing low or no cost veterinary services. This type of work is even more critical in my adopted home state of Alaska, where veterinary services are lacking in many rural areas. Every dog, cat, and other domesticated animal deserves to be cared for in a loving home; they can't speak for themselves, so it is up to us to advocate on their behalf.
It is a simple way to support the causes I care about throughout the year.
Consistent contributions throughout the year provide ongoing support so the organizations I care about can focus on their objectives and spend less time trying to secure funding.
