Alex’s Lemonade Stand was founded by my daughter, Alex. In our front yard when she was four years old. She decided she would have a lemonade stand, (Liz Scott – Alex’s mother, co-executive director of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation) but instead of keeping the money she would give it to her doctors so they could help kids like her. And she was able to reach her (text at top of page: Alex Scott Raised $1 million for childhood cancer research before she passed away at the age of 8) million-dollar goal. She passed away two weeks later. She was eight and a half.
