The handsome, healthy, and happy puppy you see in the photo started his life with a fight to survive. A diagnosis of Parvo (a contagious virus that attacks the gastrointestinal tract) can be scary and requires fast action and intensive medical treatment. Because of the severity of Parvo, very few shelters treat this virus, but the Animal Protective League (APL) does! Our staff are highly trained and knowledgeable on the subject of Parvo treatment and because of our supporters, we have the resources necessary to save the lives of animals like Bruno who needed a second chance!
Bruno was treated for Parvo at APL and is now able to live out his playful, puppy days to the fullest. When he was in foster care, his foster said he has the most adorable personality! He has long legs and it took a while for him to get used to them and he used to trip over them all the time. He loves his toys very much and keeps them safe in his crate. He loves playing with grass and he is always on the move. This positive outcome is possible because of generous donors who help APL to ensure that innocent animals can receive the high-quality, vital care they need to live a happy and healthy life.
