End Hunger in Calvert County - No one should go hungry
Cause of the Week
Video is a compilation of picture stills fading in and out showing the work that End Hunger in Calvert County does around Southern Maryland. It shows our food distribution partners, staff, volunteers and classroom instructions. Music is over the images as words fade in and out. The CFC Logo and our number are static on the lower right: #61423 and the Better Business Bureau accredited charity logo is static on the lower left.
This is what is said across the screen:
End Hunger in Calvert County
Let's end hunger, for good.
Together, with our 72 feeding organizations, we distribute nearly 2 MILLION pounds of food to 25,000 people in Southern Maryland every year.
Our partners include food pantries, school backpack programs, and other feeding programs.
In addition to food distribution, our Culinary Training Program helps individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities move towards self-sufficiency.
We teach them skills that help them land a career in the foodservice industry.
Our partnership with other like-missioned organizations allows us to help students learn the emotional and professional skills to get a job and keep it.
End Hunger's Culinary Training Program received a Governor's Citation for our work with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities.
Thank you for choosing End Hunger in Calvert County. No one should go hungry, and with your help they won't. https://endhungercalvert.org/
