Hi everyone, I’m Willow! I came to PACC in November 2023 when I was just a 7-month-old pup. Fast forward, and now I’m 1.5 years old — time flies when you’re having fun! When I first arrived, everyone was talking about my “disfigured forelimb” and “elbow dysplasia.” I’m not sure what that means, but I think it’s why I got so much love and attention!
I was lucky enough to be fostered by an amazing family who took me home, so I didn’t have to stay in the shelter - woohoo! And then something super cool happened—Friends of PACC started raising money for me, and I even got to be in a parade! So many people walked for Team Willow—I felt like a celebrity!
But the biggest news? I needed surgery to fix my leg, and some pawesome doctors took care of me. They poked me and checked on me a lot, but I didn’t mind because everyone was so nice. And guess what? My surgery went great! And that wonderful family who fostered me? They adopted me! Now I’m part of their family forever!
I’m living the dream now—I go to doggie daycare, and I’m always at the dog park, running around with all the big dogs. I’ve made so many new friends, and I’m having the best time every day!
Thank you for being part of my journey! I’m wagging my tail with excitement for all the love and support you’ve given me. I can’t wait to see what adventures come next!
