LAB RESCUE of LRCP

Smudge came to Lab Rescue at 12 years of age, after being surrendered to a shelter we partner with. This super affectionate senior boy arrived in pitiful condition. Lab Rescue provided the needed medical care for him to regain his health and good looks. He received all his vaccines, a full medical work-up, was treated for dual ear infections, and received medication & medicated baths for a skin infection. Over the course of his several month recovery he enjoyed the love and attention of his foster family. In the end, he found a loving forever home to enjoy all the cuddles and tennis balls he can in his Golden Years. He is emblematic of the commitment Lab Rescue has to every one of the hundreds of dogs we take in each year; no matter what they need we are ready to help.

Transcript

Lab Rescue is honored to participated in the Combined Federal Campaign this year. Lab Rescue of the LRCP is a non-profit volunteer organization that rescues, fosters, and finds forever homes for abused, neglected, and abandoned Labrador Retrievers in Maryland, Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic Region. We rescue about 1,000 Labs each year and provide them with veterinary care and placement with foster families while they await adoption. We can only do this life-saving work with the support of our donor and volunteers, and a little goes a long way. Only $1 per pay period provides medicine for an incoming Lab with an ear infection. $3 per pay period provides vaccines for a Lab. You can find out more about Lab Rescue on our website at lab-rescue.org. But it couldn't be easier to donate. All you need to know is the CFC number for Lab Rescue, 19714. Thank you for considering donating or volunteering with Lab Rescue of the LRCP.
