Yet, in our own city of Lowell, “37% of the aggregate population reported usually not having enough money to buy the food they want to eat” (Source: The 2022 Lowell Community Food Assessment). “In FY 23 (June-July) Open Pantry was feeding an average of 1315 per month (total served 15,783).
