Icicle Creek is a beautiful mountain stream near Leavenworth, Washington that provides important habitat for threatened salmon, steelhead and bull trout, and water for local farms and communities. After years of working with farmers, Tribes, and government agencies, WWT finalized a project that will replace an old open-ditch irrigation diversion with a new high-efficiency pump station 2.5 miles downstream. This new station will allow 1.3 billion gallons of water previously used for irrigation to remain in Icicle Creek annually restoring flows and habitat for fish.
