We met Joselin when she started volunteering at WeeCycle earlier this year as part of her high school program. She is a high school senior at New Legacy Charter School in Aurora and she has a daughter, Avana, who is now 10 months old. When her baby turned 6 months old, the formula she was receiving from WIC was no longer enough to meet Avana’s growing needs. To supplement, she began receiving additional formula from WeeCycle.
“WIC only gives me a certain amount of cans [of formula] and it’s not enough. Even though she is eating purees, she still drinks the same amount of formula. It’s been hard to have to pay out of pocket to have enough formula to feed her.”
Your generosity provides full tummies to babies like Avana.

I really like this one. My older two, they see him in the morning. That's the first thing. They get up and go Cere, the baby's awake. So he kind of just was their missing piece. I'm Ashley. I have three kids. I have a 6 year old, 5 year old, and 11 month old. The big challenge was me losing my job because I was pregnant and then I had to be on bed rest and hospital visits and doctor visits. DO we not pay this bill for him to get diapers? Do we not do this for him to get clothes? So the cost of everything is, it's a lot trying to purchase the essential needs for a baby and then that's when WeeCycle came into play. I got bassinets, diapers, clothes, anything that he really needed. I'm so thankful for WeeCycle. They have helped my family so much.
