Life can be unpredictable and challenging, especially for single parents like Clara. When Clara contacted us after receiving an eviction notice from her private landlord, we knew we had to act quickly to help her and her three children. Despite working full-time and receiving child support, Clara had fallen behind on her bills due to the unexpected hospitalization of her oldest daughter, who was struggling with her mental health. Thanks to our emergency rent assistance program, Thrive was able to prevent Clara's eviction and provide her with a lifeline during a difficult time. In addition, we connected her with other resources for food to ensure her family's basic needs were met. We are honored to support hardworking neighbors like Clara and grateful to our donors for making our programs possible. We know that together, we can help families like hers overcome adversity and thrive in our community.
