Arundel House of Hope has been helping the homeless since 1992. We provide emergency, transitional, and permanent affordable housing for people experiencing homelessness in Anne Arundel County. Our programs assist and empower men, women, families with children, Veterans, and people with disabilities on their path to independence and self-sufficiency.
Two of our most well-known services are the Day Resource Center and the Winter Relief Program. The Day Resource Center supports unsheltered people by providing daily support services, like mail, showers, and laundry facilities. In the winter, we partner with faith communities to operate the Winter Relief Program, which provides a safe and warm place to stay during the harsh winter months. The community comes together to provide meals, companionship, and other necessities to about 200 people each winter. In addition, we support people in recovery through the Community Recovery Center, which provides social support, sobriety meetings, and career and life skills training to aid people on their path to self-sufficiency.
Last year, we served 918 individuals through our programs. However, as housing costs have skyrocketed in the area, we see an increased need for our services. Your support will help us meet the increased need. It will help us continue our mission to end homelessness in Anne Arundel County.
Thank you for supporting Arundel House of Hope. CFC #94532
