As those who will inherit the consequences of the choices adults make today, youth can be the best messengers for demanding change. Over the last 5 years, we have provide free climate and clean energy presentations and educational resources to more than 16,000 public, private, and charter schools across the state.

Here's some of the feedback we've received from two students:
"I wanted to thank you for the presentation, it was extremely eye-opening and inspiring, and the work you and the rest of Blue Planet Foundation are doing is truly extraordinary."
"I really like the idea of changing the system, instead of just making little change. I loved the presentation, and will hopefully do that program to learn more about the ways we can combat climate change."

Amidst daunting climate projections, Hawaii has emerged as a global leader on clean energy policy. At Blue Planet, we believe that by making Hawaii a model of clean energy progress, we can inspire and catalyze climate solutions around the world. Blue Planet is a Honolulu-based non-profit committed to accelerating the transition to a just and sustainable energy future. By using the lever of bold policy and the power of storytelling, we create momentum and inspire change in Hawaii and beyond. Our most recent climate victory in the islands was the recent passing of Senate Bill 2629, which made our island coal free by 2023. After 7 years of advocacy, we led a grassroots student-powered effort to pass the law and educated our local community about the opportunity in front of us and urged them to share their voices and submit testimony alongside us. We'd love your support in continuing this critical work to fight climate change and protect our islands.
