Elevations believes all children, regardless of family resources, should receive the therapy and equipment they need to live up to their full potential. Below is a statement provided by a mother grateful for the Elevations grant her son received for specialized therapies.
“The support given by Elevations has helped our family see our 4-year-old with a severe oral aversion enjoy making muffins! Elevations has allowed us to receive additional therapies to help our son continue forward, decreasing his severe oral aversion and speech issues. As a parent with a child with feeding difficulties, consistency with his therapists is key and Elevations helps/helped us at times when income was lost from the pandemic. We are incredibly thankful!”

[Mary Anne] Elevations was founded because too many children with special needs who could be helped by therapy were falling through the cracks.
[Brian] We are an intervention, essentially,
a financial intervention so that families can actually get all the therapeutic services they need for their children.
[Mary Anne] These therapies cost a lot of money. Insurance doesn't cover a lot of things so the family has to decide, okay, do I get my child what they need or do I put food on the table? And so we just found that unacceptable and we needed to make a change.
[Mary Anne] We are 100% community funded. We are the communities hands. It's people that care that come together and make a difference and then we just get to distribute it.
