A patient contacted the JMCF to inquire about financial assistance to have a device attached to their steering wheel to help them drive again. The patient was undergoing cancer treatment for an aggressive breast cancer and had lost the use of their arm. The patient attended a safety training course that approved her for the use of the device on her vehicle. Our foundation helped the patient pay for the device to be added to their car. The patient was so happy to be able to drive again to/from treatments and to the store for groceries. The patient sent the JMCF this picture and caption.
