We have worked tirelessly to ensure that the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) lives up to its name. CEJA, one of the nation’s most comprehensive and equitable energy and climate laws, will help Illinois meet our renewable energy goal of 40% by 2030 and reduce health-harming and planet-warming pollution from our energy and transportation sectors.

Illinois has begun implementing CEJA’s many programs, and PRN is leading the work inside the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition, coordinating a dozen different working groups to achieve the high aims of CEJA. We are ensuring that communities understand and benefit from CEJA’s opportunities including solar, energy efficiency, and electric vehicles. We are supporting real people and real communities in the transition to a clean energy future in Illinois.

Prairie Rivers Network: Protect Water, Heal Land, Inspire Change

[peaceful and positive music throughout]

Overhead view of river, flying over the water and trees

At Prairie Rivers Network, we protect water, heal land, and inspire change.

Close up view of flowing water over rocks, three kayaks floating downstream, then scene switches to an overhead view of green farmland with a farmhouse.

Using the creative power of science, law, and collective action, we protect and restore our rivers, return healthy soils and diverse wildlife to our lands, and transform how we care for the earth and for each other.

Ending scene shows kids and dogs playing in and exploring the river.
