Guide Dogs of America

At Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines, our mission is to transform lives through guide and service dog partnerships. We partner dogs with people who are blind or visually impaired, veterans with PTSD or mobility limitations, and children with autism.

Located here in Los Angeles, Guide Dogs of America is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. We breed, raise, and train, guide and service dogs across the United States and Canada.

My name is Jim Reed. This is my new friend Triton. It's been a long time since I've had a friend and even longer since I've wanted one. Late at night, in the darkest hours, 1968 comes looking for me, just like it always does.
But now I have Triton to wake me up and bring me back home, and for that, I thank everybody.
