Trout was welcomed into the Louisiana SPCA at the beginning of March. At the time, he was just a puppy at the young age of 5 months old and came to us scared with urine burns smoldering his feet. After confirming no signs of a previous owner, we carried on to the next stage and prepared him for the adoption floor. To help with socialization and weight gain, he went into our foster program to learn how to become the best dog for his future owner. Little did we know, his temporary parent would soon become permanent. Trout transformed into a fun-loving, healthy boy, and was adopted by his foster parent.
