Second Chance SPCA

Huckleberry and Finn were bulldogs that came to Second Chance SPCA in July of 2023. These sweet, goofy boys were covered in demodectic mange, a result of dogs living outside and being neglected. Finn continued to have lots of surprises for us. Not only was Finn diagnosed with a major heart murmur and a collapsing trachea, Finn also had a lesion on his left shoulder. The vet diagnosed the lesion as histiocytoma, a type of tumor. Second Chance SPCA stepped up and took care of all the medical costs and treatment for Huck and Finn. Once Finn and Huck had fully recovered, they were adopted and went to their forever homes.
