Animal Control

We were alerted to a horrific situation by a person in our community outreach program. We thought we were headed to pick up 1 small dog that just had puppies but on the drive over we received a call from animal control saying we had to take all or none. So of course, we took all. We ended up with 16 dogs and puppies. We did not even have enough carriers. We loaded them all in the truck and they headed on to their new life. They had gone 3 days without food after the owner passed away. They had only been eating lunch meat. All were covered in flea bites, severely infected skin, overgrown toenails and they of course were all scared. All have now been adopted with the exception of two that have ongoing medical concerns.

Kristi Butler and Yogi, brief intro to Street Paws
Transcript

Hi, I am Kristi Butler. I am the founder of Street Paws. This is
Yogi. He is one of our former street cats. He is why we do what we do.
He had eye construcive surgery. It is one of the many places your fund goes when you help us
out. We have an adoption program for cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens.
We take care of managed colonies of cats on the streets. We currently
have five with about 30 kitties, and we do a little bit of community
outreach to help the public when we can. Thanks for your support. Bye.
