Recognizing donors, campaign workers, and units/installations for their efforts during the campaign season is a critical component to promoting the campaign and is vital to the health and overall success of the campaign.
National CFC Awards
Each year, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) recognizes those who have made extraordinary contributions to the CFC through their dedication and creativity.
- Hero awards celebrate individuals who have exceeded the call of duty in support of the CFC.
- Innovator awards celebrate agencies or CFC zones that implement a creative strategy, event, or motivational activity to boost campaign results.

The campaign contest awards recognize campaign workers for their leadership and support during the CFC through specific activities accomplished through the campaign period. Submissions will be evaluated and winners will be announced by small, medium, and large agencies per category at the Finale & Awards Ceremony in late February/early March 2025. The three contest categories are:
- Executive Involvement - Awarded to the department, agency, or reporting unit that demonstrates the best involvement of senior leadership (department/agency head) in the implementation of campaign activities, events, and/or communications.
- Best Special Event - Awarded to the department, agency, or reporting unit with the most outstanding campaign rally, kickoff, volunteer involvement, day of caring, or other events.
- Best Digital Media - Awarded to the department, agency, or reporting unit that produces the most creative and effective brief video (not a video of an event or kickoff), digital media, social media, and images to promote the CFC.

- Million Dollar Award - raised more than $1 Million in donations. signed version - customizable version
- Everest Award - increased total dollars raised by 5% OR increased participation by 5%. signed version - customizable version
- Summit Award - increased total dollars raised by 1% or more (but less than 5%) OR increased participation by 1% or more (but less than 5%). signed version - customizable version
- Volunteer Spirit Award - increased total number of volunteer donors or hours pledged by 2%. signed version - customizable version
- Chairperson's Award - 25% employee participation OR $175 per capita gift. signed version - customizable version
- Honor Award - 15% employee participation or $125 per capita gift. signed version - customizable version
